What guy doesn’t want to get that
ripped muscular, look that attracts all the
chicks? Teenage Bodybuilding is where its at!
Teenage Bodybuilding will have a huge impact on your
self image. Self-confidence as well
as self esteem are ultimately a direct
result of teenage bodybuilding. Not only will you
look great, but by following a healthy eating and workout plan,
you will also feel great.
If done correctly, as mentioned above, teenage bodybuilding promotes healthy
eating and exercise and promotes a disciplined lifestyle that
will benefit you now and in the future!
Also, as you begin to look better, you will start to notice
people even treat you differently than before.
What you must remember is that you have not yet developed
fully and must take care when choosing a diet and exercise
program. To not take this advice could lead to serious
injury which could potentially stop you exercising and maybe
even set you backwards.
It is with this in mind that the following tips have been
developed for people wanting to get into teenage
bodybuilding:
1. Stay well away from steroids. This might be an
obvious point to make, but not only are they illegal, but they
mess around with your hormones (and we all know they’re in
turmoil already), and really, you do not need them. Stick
to basic supplements instead, such as a good multi vitamin,
protein powder, and omega-3 fish oil capsules. Worry
about the other supplements later (when you have more money to
spend!).
2. With respect to your body intense weight
lifting programs should be undertaken with complete
responsibility as you are still growing. So take care in
choosing the proper workout program for
yourself.
3. Squats and dead lifts can cause severe injuries if
not performed correctly and should be restricted to teens aged
16 years and over. If you are under 16, please don’t
attempt these yet.
4. Because your testosterone levels are at an all time
high during your teens, there is no need to take supplements to
increase your testosterone levels – to do so would cause havoc
in your body!
5. Maintaining a healthy diet is key to a healthy
body. Many children and adults become obese because of
poor eating habits. By building healthy eating habits
now, you will benefit in the long run. Eat whole, healthy
foods including whole wheat bread, rice, potatoes, fruits and
vegetables. Also include proteins such as fish,
tuna, chicken, cottage cheese and protein shakes.
6. As a teen, your body is changing rapidly and
therefore requires time to regenerate, so be sure to get plenty
of rest. A minimum of 8 hours sleep a night is
recommended.
7. Set a goal and remain focused on it. Write it
down to remind you every day what you want to achieve, and
believe you will get there. Before long you will have
that lean, ripped body you have been dreaming of.
8. It is important to listen to your body. It is
growing and developing rapidly and pushing it too far could
cause irreparable damage, which you will most definitely regret
for years to come.
9. During workouts, keep yourself well hydrated and
drink plenty of water.
10. Focus on working out different parts of your body
maintaining a proportional full body workout throughout the
week. Don’t just concentrate on one part of your
body. You don’t want to look distorted!
The most important thing to think about being a teenage
bodybuilder is the fact that as a teen your body is growing and
changing rapidly and whilst you think you can take on the
world, you really must take care to insure you don’t do
yourself any irreparable damage.
You do want to look great, right? If you injure yourself,
you won’t be doing anything for a while, so keep that in
mind. Follow a program that is suited to your age group
and you will start to see your new, ripped physique take
form.
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle through good food choices, a
well planned workout routine and a positive frame of mind will
insure that as a teen body builder you will achieve what you
have set out to do. You will look lean, ripped and of
course you will have the girls hanging off you!
