If you want to know how to get cut, there are some things you need to do to ensure you get the look you want. Firstly, to get cut, you will need to both build muscle and lose fat.

Just building muscle will not give you the cut look you are after. This is because people naturally have a certain percentage of fat covering their bodies, and this generally sits over the top of the muscles, which gives you the soft look you want to avoid. In order to get the cut look you need to burn this fat layer so that the muscle can show through.

The best way to gain muscle and lose fat is through diet and exercise. These must be combined if you want to know how to get cut.

Your diet should include mainly whole, fresh foods. These foods are red meat, chicken breast, fruits and vegetables, eggs (preferably the whites only), and nuts.

To enhance your muscles and boost your metabolism, you can also include supplements, such as whey protein, creatine, and glutamine.

To keep your fat metabolism at an optimum level, you should eat between five and seven times a day. This keeps your body working on an almost constant basis to burn the foods you consume. Also, apart from breakfast, your most important meal of the day is your post workout meal. It is this meal that helps your muscles to repair and grow, and probably gives the biggest benefit of all of the meals you eat on a daily basis.

Foods containing carbohydrates should be consumed earlier in the day, rather than a night too. This allows your body to burn them prior to you going to sleep. You don’t want to go to bed with still more energy to burn if possible!

Once you have your diet all figured out, you need to next look at your workout routine.

To get cut, you will need to work out around three times per week. This is important to ensure that each muscle you work gets at least one day of rest. Your muscles repair and grow during periods of rest, and not during workouts. You need to allow this rest period to enhance muscle growth.

Your workout routine should include a combination of resistance and strength training, with short burst intervals. This combination is by far the best way to go if you want to know how to get cut.

When doing your resistance training, it is important to work each muscle as hard as you can during each set. Combining your resistance training with supersets helps you to get through your exercises quicker, as long as each superset exercises different muscles.

If you want to know how to get cut, it really isn’t all that difficult, but it will require focus and commitment to your goal. If you stick to your diet and exercise program, you will very soon begin to see your muscles showing through, and that cut look will finally be yours!
