No-Nonsense Muscle Building Click Here! Bodybuilding Techniques

There are a number of bodybuilding techniques you can follow if you want to build muscle, however your diet and your training technique has more to do with your success than the amount of weight you lift during each workout.

The first element to being a bodybuilder relates to the food you eat, when you eat it, how many calories a day you consume, and the supplements you take to enhance muscle growth.

When deciding on a bodybuilding diet it is important that you include foods that are high in protein, as well as plenty of fruits and vegetables. This is what you need to enhance muscle growth and repair, and if you combine this with a suitable workout program, you will start to see some fantastic results.

Your genetics play a big part in determining the types of exercises you should do to build your muscles, as well as how much you should eat. In most cases, when training for a competition, a bodybuilder will generally train the 12 weeks leading up to the competition. You should therefore design your workout program around this time frame.

Any longer than this, and you will find it difficult to keep up the momentum.

The following bodybuilding techniques will give you some idea of where you can start:

1. In a seven-day period, try to exercise each body part twice. Be sure to allow at least one day for the muscle to rest, before exercising it again.

2. Your chest, back and legs should be exercised before you exercise your shoulders and arms.

3. Heavy training and light training days should be alternated.

4. Also alternate between using free weights and machines.

5. Go by the feel of what you are lifting rather than the weight - really let your muscles feel what you are doing! By doing this, you may find you cannot lift as much as before – but this is ok – just go with it.

If you are training for a bodybuilding competition, it is important you include cardio in your workout routine as well. The reason for this is because to achieve optimum results, you will need to reduce your body fat content significantly in order for your muscles to show through as they are normally covered by a layer of fat.

Although they are not a bodybuilding technique short burst intervals are an ideal form of cardio. These intervals help to keep your metabolic rate higher, which in turn burns more fat, and that of course helps your muscles to show through as mentioned above.

Whatever you do don't over train. It is during periods of rest that your muscles grow and repair the most, so overtraining will prevent this happening which will prevent you from achieving your body building goals.

The bodybuilding techniques above are a good guide to get you started on your quest to build muscle. Follow these techniques and very soon you will begin to see amazing results!
